Insurance Requirement Appfolio Set-Up



Your personal property is very important and because of this we understand the need for each of our tenants to have a "Renter's Insurance Policy". As of August 1, 2022 we will be requiring all tenants apply for or provide documentation of an active Renter's Insurance Policy. Below we have outlined the steps to provide these policies via Appfolio.



Providing Your Personal Renter's Insurance Policy

To provide your personal coverage for renter's insurance please follow the steps below.

  1. Log-In to your Appfolio Online Portal
  2. Click on the "Insurance" tab to navigate to the submission page.
  3. Select your insurance provider from the drop down menu and complete the policy number and effective dates.
  4. Click the "Add Proof of Insurace" button to attach a digital copy of your policy to the form.
  5. Upon completion of the form click the "Submit Policy Information" button and the process is complete.


Applying Through Appfolio For A Renter's Insurance Policy.

Acquiring a renter's insurance policy through the Appfolio dashboard is quick and easy. Simplt floow the steps outlined below

  1. Log-In to your Appfolio Online Portal
  2. Click on the "Insurance" tab to navigate to the submission page.
  3. Click on the "Get Renters Insurance" button from there you will be guided through the application process with Appfolio.
